Fall Equinox 2012 (Autumnal Equinox) – a synoptical horoscope

In 2012, Autumnal Equinox occurs on September 22 at 14 h 49 m GMT (Geocentric).

This is the date  when Sun crosses the celestial equator moving southward (in the northern hemisphere), in other words, the Sun is exactly at 0 degree of tropical Libra sign. In the chart there are two transsaturnals in retrograde motion and it is remarkable that the True Lunar Nodes  (Caput and Cauda Draconis) are stationary – they have effectively a very slow direct motion which is the ’irregular’ direction in relation to the Lunar Nodes.

The (tropical) planetary dignities and debilities are the following: Sun is in Fall (Casus), Saturn is in Exaltation, Mars is in Rulership (Domicilium), Jupiter is in Detriment (Exilium), the other planets are peregrine. (I consider always the transsaturnals having no essential dignities and debilities.)

The Moon is waxing (48 percent) and at this time it did not reach the First Quarter. We can see that the Moon is in conjunction (within 1 degree) of the Galactic Centre.
